Research at Akron

Main research interests at the Physics Department of The University of Akron are:

experimental and theoretical polymer physics in collaboration with the Polymer Science Department and the Institute of Polymer Science as well as the Department of Chemistry and the Molecular Spectroscopy Lab
theoretical condensed matter physics, including critical phenomena and semiconductor transport
experimental surface physics
physics education and the use of computers for instruction

Both, undergraduate and graduate students, are highly encouraged to work and do research with faculty members.
